CORPSMART™ is Certified By the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council

[OLYMPIA, WA]—May 19, 2020—CORPSMART™, a business specializing in Commercial Lending Due Diligence, Corporate Entity Formation and Management Services, is proud to announce national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the WBEC-Pacific, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

CORPSMART™’s Vice President of Business Development, McKenna Weiks, went on to explain that “About a year ago, on a flight to Asheville, North Carolina, I sat next to a woman that ownedher own wealth management firm, presumably a minority business as well. We got to talking about the work that we both do and she exclaimed, ‘Wow, I would have never thought that you worked in the world of finance and legal services.’ She was right, I didn’t fit the mold, and every day at CORPSMART™, we’re breaking that mold in what we do, how we do it and who we have on our team. That’s what sets us apart from others and we’re thrilled to be certified as a WomenOwned Business.”

WBENC’s national standard of certification implemented by the WBEC-Pacific is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.

By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs.
