Last day to file: August 15, 2016

If you have a business in Nevada (NV), the next Commerce Tax will affect you. Every NV business is required to file a Commerce Tax Return by August 15th, regardless of liability.

The Nevada department of taxation explains that “A $4,000,000 is the standard amount a business entity is allowed to deduct from its Nevada gross revenue before the Commerce Tax is imposed. It reduces the business entity’s revenue subject to tax but it does NOT exempt the business entity from the filing requirement.”
